Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 1½ cups
- Vanilla salt - 1½ teaspoons
- Quail Egg - 10 pieces
- Sugar - 3 teaspoons
- Semolina - 3 tablespoons
- Raisins - 4 tablespoons
- Desiccated coconut - ½ tablespoon
- Rum Flavoring - to taste
- Grated Ginger Root - to taste
- Pear Jam - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, add the cottage cheese. Add the quail eggs. Mix thoroughly to eliminate lumps.
Step 2
Add the vanilla sugar, sugar, semolina, and raisins. Mix again.
Step 3
Let it sit for 20-30 minutes for the semolina to swell.
Step 4
Stir in the shredded coconut, add a couple of drops of flavoring, and a pinch of ginger to taste. Mix.
Step 5
Grease the muffin molds with oil (if they are not silicone), and spoon the batter into the molds.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 30 minutes (check readiness with a wooden stick).
Step 7
Brush the finished muffins with apple jam while they are still hot. This will help them stay soft longer.
