Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 8.5 oz
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Salt - a pinch
- Semolina - 2 spoons
- Baking Powder - 0,2 teaspoons
- Oat flakes - 4 spoons
- Raisins - 2.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese and two eggs, then add sugar.
Step 2
Add the oats and semolina, and stir well.
Step 3
Add salt and baking powder.
Step 4
Rinse the raisins, pour boiling water over them, and add to the bowl.
Step 5
Stir everything until smooth and place the pan on the heat, adding oil.
Step 6
Take a tablespoon, scoop some batter with it, and simply drop it onto the skillet, using another spoon or your finger to nudge it.
Step 7
Cover with a lid, reduce the heat to the minimum, and let the syrniki cook for about 5–6 minutes. Then, flip them to the other side, cover again, and cook for another 5 minutes. After that, turn off the heat and leave the syrniki covered for a few important minutes — they will absorb the steam and become even juicier.
