Description
Instead of chocolate for coating, you can use crushed cookies or shredded coconut. For the filling, you can use a piece of chocolate, sweet berries, and much more. If you are using coarse cottage cheese, it should be passed through a fine sieve beforehand. You may need more or less sour cream depending on the moisture of the cottage cheese. I ended up with 8 pastries.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Dates - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add sour cream and honey to the cottage cheese, and mix well with a spoon.
Step 2
Grate the chocolate on a fine grater.
Step 3
Wet your hands with water, place a tablespoon of the cottage cheese mixture in your palm. Form a flat patty, place half a date inside. Wrap the cottage cheese mixture into a ball and roll it in the chocolate shavings.
Step 4
Place the cottage cheese pastries on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to cool.
