Ingredients
- Margarine - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Cottage cheese - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the flour in a mound on the surface, place the margarine on top, and chop the margarine into small pieces with a knife, mixing it with the flour. The result should be a fine crumb.
Step 2
For the filling, mix the cottage cheese, egg, and sugar. Add a pinch of baking soda. Mix well.
Step 3
In a baking dish, place half of the margarine crumb. Spread it evenly. Pour in the filling. Evenly distribute the remaining crumb on top.
Step 4
Place in an oven preheated to 392°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20–30 minutes. The pie is ready when it has a golden crust on top.
Step 5
Before serving, the pie should cool completely if possible, as the filling inside is liquid, and cutting it while hot may cause it to leak.
