Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 glass
- Sugar - 1¾ glasses
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 tablespoon
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Vanilla salt - to taste
- Large eggs - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine a cup of flour, a cup of sugar, softened margarine, and baking soda that has been quenched, and mix them together by hand until you achieve a crumbly texture.
Step 2
For the filling, mix the cottage cheese with the eggs, sugar (3/4 cup), and vanilla.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread half of the crumb mixture evenly over it. Top with the cheese filling, smooth it out, and sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top. Bake in the oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 4
Before serving, cut into squares. You can sprinkle the pie with grated chocolate. And of course, brew a fragrant tea, perhaps with thyme.
