- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Farm fresh eggs - 4 pieces
- Vanillin - to taste
- Raisins - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with one tablespoon of sugar (from the total amount), add the baking powder, grate the cold butter (from the refrigerator) and mix it with your hands to make a crumbly mixture.
Step 2
Line the baking dish with parchment paper. Cover the bottom and sides well with the crumb mixture (2/3) and pour in the cottage cheese batter: mix the eggs with sugar, vanillin, raisins, and cottage cheese using a mixer. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture (1/3) on top.
Step 3
Bake in a preheated oven until done (about 35–40 minutes). You can check for doneness with a wooden stick.
