Cottage Cheese Pudding in a Steamer with Milk Sauce
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Rice Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
- Apricots - 3 pieces
- Milk - 1 cup
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Vanillin - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preparing the pudding: separate the egg white from the yolk
Step 2
Whisk the egg white with a pinch of salt
Step 3
Whisk the yolk with sugar
Step 4
Add flour to the yolk, blend the sour cream, add cottage cheese and blend again.
Step 5
Combine the egg whites with the cottage cheese mixture
Step 6
Add apricots (any fruits or berries can be used) and gently mix
Step 7
Pour into molds and place in the steamer for 20 minutes
Step 8
Preparing the milk sauce: melt the butter in a pan, add flour, and stir for 2 minutes (to avoid lumps)
Step 9
Add sugar and boiled milk. Stir constantly until thickened, then add vanillin. If there are lumps, cool and blend with a blender
Step 10
The pudding can be eaten from the molds or placed on a plate and drizzled with sauce.
