- Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Corn Flour for Polenta - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Vanilla salt - 1.1 oz
- Corn Starch - 1 tablespoon
- Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1.1 oz
- Walnuts - to taste
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, mix a package of cottage cheese (200 g), the egg, vanilla sugar, and baking soda. Gradually add the flour, watching the consistency of the dough; it should be soft but workable for rolling. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2
For the filling, add 2 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of starch to 200 g of cottage cheese and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, grated chocolate, and chopped walnuts.
Step 3
Dust the working surface with flour, as the dough is quite sticky. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm. Spread the cottage cheese mixture with starch over the dough and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mixture with walnuts. Roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into segments of 1–1.5 cm. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 356°F for about 30 minutes, until the rolls are golden brown.
