Cottage Cheese Rose Buns
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Dry yeast - 2 lbs
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Vanilla salt - to taste
- Milk - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the filling: Add the egg, vanilla sugar, and sugar (100 g) to the cottage cheese (must be at room temperature).
Step 2
Mix everything well (if the cottage cheese is too runny, you can add some flour or semolina).
Step 3
From the risen dough, make flatbreads and let them rise a bit.
Step 4
Roll out the flatbread, make 3 cuts so that the parts are slightly different sizes, one part a little larger than the other. Place the filling in the center.
Step 5
Wrap one of the three parts (the smallest) around the cottage cheese and seal it. Then do the same with the larger part. Finally, wrap the largest part of the flatbread around.
Step 6
The sealing point should be as low as possible, at the base of the buns, otherwise they will fall over. Connect as tightly as possible, especially the last part. The 'rose' is ready.
Step 7
Let the buns rise well.
Step 8
Add a little milk to the egg yolk. Mix and brush the buns. Bake at 180°C.
