Cranberry Jam with Cherry and Walnuts
Ingredients
- Sugar - ¾ cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Port Wine - ½ cup
- Ground Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - 0.1 teaspoon
- Ground dried cherries - 2.8 oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 12.3 oz
- Roasted Peanuts - 2.6 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, port wine, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil over medium heat and add the cherries. Cook for 1 minute.
Step 2
Then add the cranberries, bring to a boil again, reduce the heat, and simmer for 10–12 minutes until half of the berries burst. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Add the slightly chopped walnuts and orange zest. Cool to allow the jam to thicken.
