Ingredients
- Fig - 12 pieces
- Cranberry - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Raw cane sugar - 2 spoons
- Corn Starch - 2 spoons
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a blender, puree the berries, then strain the mixture through a fine sieve. Set the juice aside, mix the pulp with sugar, add one liter of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for about five minutes.
Step 2
Add the cornstarch diluted in a small amount of water, bring the mixture back to a boil, strain it, and mix it with fresh berry juice.
Step 3
In a skillet, melt the butter, then add the brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Sauté the halved or quartered figs for about a minute.
Step 4
Pour the jelly into deep plates, add the sautéed figs, and serve.
