Cranberry Pull-Apart Pie
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar - 1 cup
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 7.1 oz
- Orange zest - to taste
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a preheated skillet, add half of the sugar and the zest, and cook for 1 minute. Add the cranberries and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2
Roll out the pastry into a thin rectangular sheet. Evenly sprinkle the remaining sugar, leaving about 0.5 cm from the edges. Top with the cranberries in syrup, leaving 1 cm from the edges. Carefully roll the sheet with the cranberries into a long log.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Cut the log into equal slices about 3–4 cm wide, and tightly arrange them in a greased baking dish. Brush the top of the pie with strong black tea, place in the oven, and bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown.
