- Safflower Oil - 0 fl oz
- Raw cane sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon - 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the dough by whisking together the flour with the eggs and room temperature milk.
Step 2
Add the melted butter, which should have cooled slightly, to the mixture. Whisk everything together once more. You can let the batter rest for half an hour to achieve a more tender texture for the pancakes.
Step 3
Prepare a lemon syrup by squeezing the juice of two lemons and dissolving sugar in it in a saucepan. For added flavor, you can also include a bit of lemon zest.
Step 4
After cooking the pancakes in sunflower oil, serve them with syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
