Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Vegetable Oil - 5 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Knead a stiff dough with all the ingredients except for the powdered sugar.
Step 2
Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Then roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut vertical strips. From each strip, cut diamonds. Make a small incision in the center of each diamond and pull one edge through this incision.
Step 4
Fry the crispy pastry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 5
While still hot, sprinkle the crispy pastry with powdered sugar.
