Ingredients
- Cheese Spread - 8.8 oz
- Puff Pastry - 2 pieces
- Walnuts - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
I use ready-made yeast puff pastry (1 package contains 2 sheets). Roll out the sheets into 2 rectangles measuring about 30x15 cm.
Step 2
Cut the rectangles into triangles (from one sheet of dough, you can get 5–6 triangles). Make cuts at the base of each triangle measuring 2–3 cm (a diagram is included in the image).
Step 3
Place the filling at the start of the cut at the base, and sprinkle with nuts.
Step 4
Roll the croissant from the lower corners to the top (the cut at the lower base is necessary to secure the filling and keep it inside the croissant).
Step 5
Place the croissants on parchment paper, sprinkle with cinnamon, and send them to a preheated oven at 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
