Cook the lentils according to the package instructions (it's better to soak them beforehand). Drain and rinse with cold water.

Whisk the oil with the vinegar. Add salt and the lentils.
Step 3
Toast the sliced bread in a skillet (optional: rub with garlic). Mix the cheese with the cream and stir well. Add chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Spread on the bread and top with lentils.
