Description
Crumble with Nectarines and Chocolate Granola
Ingredients
- Nectarines - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Corn Starch - 1 teaspoon
- Muesli - 2.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 0.5 oz
- Brown Sugar - 0.7 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 0.5 oz
- Butter - 0.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Take ripe nectarines, peel them, remove the pits, and cut them into large cubes. In a bowl, combine the nectarines, sugar, and cornstarch, mix well, and let them release their juice.
Step 3
In another bowl, combine the muesli, flour, brown sugar, and warm butter. Mix by hand to form a crumbly dough. Make sure the butter evenly coats all the dry ingredients, in other words, it should be melted. Sift unsweetened cocoa powder into the dough and mix everything well again. The crumble should have a rich dark color.
Step 4
Place the nectarines along with the released juice at the bottom of a baking dish. Sprinkle the crumbly dough on top. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until the fruits start bubbling from the bottom. Remove and cool on a rack.
Step 5
Cut into portions, artfully arrange on plates, and serve with any sweet hot sauce or a scoop of chocolate sorbet.
