Description
If using cottage cheese, bring it to a warm state. Place it in a blender with eggs and sugar and blend. Use between 0.5 to 1 cup of sugar, depending on how sweet you want the pie to be. For flavoring, you can add vanilla or finely grated lemon zest to the cottage cheese.
Ingredients
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance and let it soften to a medium consistency. Beat the butter with sugar using a mixer. Add the flour mixed with baking powder and mix again with the mixer. You should get a crumbly mixture of not very large, fatty crumbs. Make sure there are no lumps!
Step 2
Bring the cottage cheese mass to room temperature (you can warm it in the microwave) and beat it with the eggs using a mixer.
Step 3
Line the entire baking dish with parchment paper. Pour 2/3 of the crumbs into the dish and spread them evenly across the bottom. Do not press down! Just spread!
Step 4
Evenly pour the cottage cheese mass over the crumbs.
Step 5
Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top.
Step 6
Place in an oven preheated to 356°F until the cottage cheese layer is set and the surface is a bright golden color (25–35 minutes). If the surface browns quickly while the cottage cheese is still liquid, cover the dish with foil and reduce the temperature by 20 degrees. Remove the finished pie from the dish after it has completely cooled.
