Description
You can use any berries. It is very delicious with currants.
Ingredients
- Milk - 11 fl oz
- Oat Bran - 1.2 oz
- Whole Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - to taste
- Cornstarch - 0.5 oz
- Frozen berries - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the base, mix 30 ml of milk, bran, flour, 2 egg whites, and sugar to knead the dough.
Step 2
Place the dough in a mold (16–17 cm in diameter, silicone is best), create edges with the dough, prick the base with a fork, and send it to the oven for 15 minutes at 356°F.
Step 3
For the cream, mix 300 ml of milk, cornstarch, 2 egg yolks, and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thickened.
Step 4
Pour the finished cream into the prepared base, sprinkle with berries (you can use them frozen).
Step 5
Bake for another 20 minutes.
Step 6
Cool down and leave in the refrigerator for a few hours.
