Description
Bramboraky are a type of Czech potato pancake. They are a variation of potato cakes, of which there are countless varieties around the world. The ingredients include eggs, and garlic and marjoram are also added to the bramboraky. They are best enjoyed with beer, of course!
Ingredients
- Potato - 20 oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Dried Chamomile - ½ spoons
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Milk - 0 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 5 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and grate them using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Add a pinch of salt, mix well, and squeeze out the juice.
Step 4
Add marjoram and crushed garlic to the potatoes.
Step 5
Add the eggs, pepper, and a little more salt.
Step 6
Add the milk and flour. Mix well.
Step 7
Heat oil in a skillet.
Step 8
Use a spoon to place the potato pancakes in the pan and fry them on both sides until golden brown. Once cooked, transfer the potato pancakes to paper towels to absorb any excess grease.
Step 9
Transfer the finished potato pancakes to paper towels to remove excess grease.
Step 10
Serve.
