Cognac can be replaced with various liqueurs or rum. You can use shredded coconut for coating. Cognac can be substituted with liqueur.

Ingredients

  • 70% Dark Chocolate - 7.1 oz
  • Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Heavy cream - 5 fl oz
  • Coarse Salt - a pinch
  • Cocoa Powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Cognac - 3 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

In a saucepan (with thick walls), place the butter and break the chocolate into pieces.

Step 3

Put it on the heat and pour in the cream.

Step 4

Then reduce the heat to the minimum; ideally, you can use a double boiler.
