- Pitted olives - 10.6 oz
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Butter - 4.4 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 6 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the dates, add baking soda on the tip of a teaspoon, stir, and let sit for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Blend the mixture in a blender.
Step 3
Cream the butter with the sugar.
Step 4
Add the eggs one at a time.
Step 5
Incorporate the date mixture, flour, and half a teaspoon of baking soda.
Step 6
Mix and let sit for half an hour.
Step 7
Bake for 30–40 minutes at 356°F.
Step 8
Serve warm, optionally drizzled with cream (wait for the pudding to soak in).
