Description
The ratio of semolina to kefir is 1:1. You can decorate the cake with powdered sugar or fruits!
Ingredients
- Semolina - 17.6 oz
- Kefir - 17 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - ¾ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Warm the kefir (it should be slightly warm).
Step 2
Add the eggs to the kefir and mix.
Step 3
Add sugar, salt, and baking soda, and mix. Add the semolina and whisk well with a whisk or mixer. Let it swell for 30 minutes in a warm place. After that, pour the mixture into a mold previously greased with vegetable oil. Bake for 30 minutes at 180–392°F in a preheated oven. Once the cake is baked, let it cool. Before serving, remove it from the mold onto a plate or something else.
