Ingredients

  • Pumpkin - 12.3 oz
  • Apple - 2 pieces
  • Butter - 2.5 oz
  • Semolina - ½ cup
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanillin - 0.4 oz
  • Water - 1 qt
  • Chicken Egg - 2 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Take the butter out of the refrigerator to soften.

Gradually pour in the beaten eggs, stirring gently.

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, place it in the oven, and bake for 30 minutes.

Peel the pumpkin of seeds and skin, and cut it into cubes.

Step 3

Transfer the chopped pumpkin to a pot, cover with water, and place on the heat. After boiling, skim off the foam, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and let it stew.

When the pumpkin becomes soft (approximately after 15–20 minutes), remove it from the heat and drain the excess water.

Preheat the oven to 320°F.

Mash the pumpkin until smooth and let it cool.

Peel the apples and grate them finely.

Whisk the eggs and sugar together.

Add the grated apples, softened butter, semolina, and vanillin to the cooled pumpkin puree. Mix thoroughly.
