Diet Apple Charlotte with Cottage Cheese
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oat flakes - 1 cup
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- 1% Kefir - 5 fl oz
- Cottage cheese - 3.5 oz
- Starch film - 2 tablespoons
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Stevia Extract - to taste
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat 1 egg with pistachio cottage cheese (you can use regular cottage cheese and add crushed pistachios, as it does not significantly affect the taste). Add stevia to taste (about 1.2 teaspoons should be enough).
Step 2
Add olive oil.
Step 3
Sift the flour and mix it with the baking powder.
Step 4
Add the flour to the egg-cottage cheese mixture and knead the dough. Roll into a ball and, covered with plastic wrap, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 5
For the filling, sift the cottage cheese, add 2 eggs, kefir, starch, and honey.
Step 6
Slice the apples.
Step 7
Roll out the dough and place it in a baking dish, preferably greased with oil. Prick the dough with a fork and line it with baking paper. Top with beans (peas, chickpeas) to prevent the pie crust from deforming.
Step 8
Place in the oven at 356°F for 15-20 minutes.
Step 9
Then, remove the beans and layer the filling: one layer of cottage cheese, one layer of apples, cottage cheese, apples.
Step 10
Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 356°F.
