Description
When choosing a mold, keep in mind that the omelette will rise 1.5 to 2 times. This omelette is suitable as a therapeutic meal for peptic ulcers.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Milk - 2 fl oz
- Salt - 0 oz
- Butter - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Pour water into the steamer (about one third of the maximum capacity) and place it on the heat.
Step 3
Crack the eggs into a deep bowl and whisk well until smooth.
Step 4
Add salt.
Step 5
Pour in the milk and mix well.
Step 6
Grease the mold with butter.
Step 7
Pour the egg mixture into the mold. Ideally, it should not be higher than 4 cm, as a greater height may retain bacteria in the omelette.
Step 8
If the water in the steamer is already boiling, place the mold inside and cover with a lid.
Step 9
After about 7 to 10 minutes, turn off the steamer, but do not remove the omelette immediately; let it sit for a few minutes. Carefully lift the lid to avoid pouring water from it onto the omelette.
Step 10
Optionally, spread butter on the surface of the omelette. It can be served.
