Dietary buckwheat porridge with goji berries

Ingredients

  • Buckwheat - 2.8 oz
  • Rye Bran - 1.4 oz
  • Fructose - 0.1 oz
  • Goji Berries - 0.8 oz
  • 1% Milk - 20 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Soak the goji berries in a glass of warm (not hot!) water for 3 minutes. Drain the water and gently squeeze the berries.

Step 2

In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil, add the sweetener and buckwheat. Cook, covered with a lid or foil, on low heat for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Add the bran. Cook, stirring, on low heat for another 5 minutes and remove from heat.

Step 4

Serve the porridge in a bowl, add the goji berries, and enjoy.
