Dietary Lazy Dumplings

Ingredients

  • Fat-free cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
  • Powdered Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg white - 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla Sugar - a pinch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

First, the cottage cheese should be thoroughly mashed, either with a fork or passed through a sieve. Then take the cottage cheese, egg white, sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar. Mix well. Add the flour and mash everything again until smooth.

Step 2

Sprinkle flour on a board and place the dough on it. You can sprinkle a little more flour on top of the dough. Now roll it out to a thickness of about 1 cm.

Step 3

Option 1. You can cut the dough into strips and then into squares.

Step 4

Option 2. You can use cookie cutters to make fun shapes (a perfect option for kids).

Step 5

Option 3. Roll the dough into a log about 1 cm in diameter. Cut the log diagonally into pieces about 1 cm.

Step 6

Bring a pot of water to a boil. When the water boils, add a little salt and drop in the dumplings. As soon as the dumplings float, cook for another 3 minutes.

Step 7

Scoop out the floating dumplings with a slotted spoon and place them on a dish in layers, sprinkling each layer with a little sugar to prevent them from sticking together.

Step 8

Serve hot. You can top with jam or honey.
