Description
A cup is 200 grams. For decoration, you can use various creams and glazes, shredded coconut, colorful sprinkles, etc. To shape the donuts, you can use: a cut bottle with a diameter of about 10 cm for the outer circle; a bottle cap for the inner circle. They turn out airy inside, the dough is not sweet, and the glaze adds just the right amount of sweetness.
Ingredients
- Vanillin - 2 teaspoons
- Powdered Sugar - ½ cup
- Milk - ½ cup
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter, and egg until creamy.
Step 2
Add the milk and mix.
Step 3
Then add the baking powder.
Step 4
Start adding the flour (sifting it directly into the bowl) in 2–3 stages. Do not add all the flour at once. The dough should be thick and sticky (about the consistency of éclair dough).
Step 5
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the dough and place it on a floured surface. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, adding more flour if necessary.
Step 7
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm, shape the donuts, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 8
Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 15–20 minutes. The donuts should be golden brown and increase in size by about 2–2.5 times.
Step 9
Pour the glaze into a wide dish (a classic soup plate works well). Let the finished donuts cool. Turn each donut 'face down' in your hands and dip it in the glaze. Remove, flip over, and sprinkle with confetti.
