Description
1 cup = 250 ml; if someone measures in grams, then 600–630 grams of flour is needed.
Ingredients
- Milk - 1 cup
- Dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Margarine - 5.3 oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour - 4 cups
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In warm milk, stir in the yeast (dry yeast can be replaced with 20 grams of fresh yeast), and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the egg, melted margarine, salt, sugar, and flour, and knead the dough (4 cups of flour are needed — it may require a bit more, but do not knead too stiff dough; due to the margarine, it should not stick too much to your hands and should be very soft), place it in a bag and leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it warm up for about 5–7 minutes, divide it and roll the dough into balls. You can roll out the dough with a rolling pin or flatten it with your hand. Place the filling in the center of the flattened dough. Pinch the edges well and place on a baking sheet with the seam side down.
Step 4
The filling in the pies can be to taste; it can be sweet or savory; brush the pies with egg yolk and bake until golden brown for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees — check according to your oven. This amount of ingredients makes 12 pies.
