- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Milk - 6 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Cocoa Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Water - 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Desiccated coconut - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast with sugar and a teaspoon of flour in warm milk. Let it sit in a warm place for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
In the remaining flour, pour in the yeast mixture, add the egg, oil, and salt. Knead the dough. Let it rise in a warm place for an hour.
Step 3
Punch down the risen dough, divide it into small balls, roll each into a rope, and connect the ends. Fry in vegetable oil.
Step 4
For the glaze, mix cocoa powder with powdered sugar, add boiling water, and stir well.
Step 5
Spoon the glaze onto each doughnut and sprinkle with shredded coconut.
