Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour - 1 cup
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Whole egg - 3 pieces
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thoroughly grind the butter in one bowl and then the yolks with salt in another bowl until white.
Step 2
Whip the egg white until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Combine all parts and mix well.
Step 4
Gradually add the pre-mixed and sifted flour to the mixture, while slowly pouring in the milk, stirring continuously until you achieve a smooth, elastic batter.
Step 5
Heat a deep frying pan, melt the butter in it, pour in the batter, and immediately place it in a well-heated oven at moderate heat for about half an hour.
