- Baking Powder - a pinch
- Butter - 5.5 oz
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1.1 oz
- Marinated cherries - 7.1 oz
- Chocolate - 3.2 oz
- Vodka - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the cherries in vodka for 10 hours. Drain the vodka before preparing the cake.
Step 2
Beat the eggs with sugar.
Step 3
Add the softened butter.
Step 4
Add the flour and baking powder.
Step 5
Add the cocoa powder.
Step 6
Pour in the milk and mix until smooth.
Step 7
Chop the chocolate with a knife. Add it to the batter along with the cherries.
Step 8
Grease the baking pan with butter.
Step 9
Dust with flour.
Step 10
Transfer the batter to the pan.
Step 11
Place in an oven preheated to 392°F for 45 minutes.
