Ingredients
- Corn Flour for Polenta - 10.6 oz
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Condensed Milk - 14.1 oz
- Condensed Milk - 13 fl oz
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla Pod - 1 piece
- Salt - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat regular milk with the addition of sugar, the contents of a vanilla pod, and a pinch of salt.
Step 2
When the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat and gradually add the cornmeal for the polenta, stirring until it thickens, about five minutes. After that, transfer the polenta to a pie dish and let it cool.
Step 3
In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and maple syrup. Add baking soda and cook over low heat until the sauce turns a brown color and reaches a thick consistency.
Step 4
Slice the corn pie into portions and drizzle with hot sauce.
