Description
For the filling, you can leave the pitted cherries overnight with sugar, and in the morning, you will have a wonderful cherry sauce that can be used for serving the dumplings!
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Kefir - 3 fl oz
- Marinated cherries - 6.3 oz
- Sugar - to taste
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the flour onto the table in a mound, make a well in the center, and crack the egg into it.
Step 2
Begin kneading the dough with your hand, gradually adding kefir. The amount of kefir may vary depending on the dryness of the flour.
Step 3
Knead the dough, then roll it into a ball and let it rest.
Step 4
Now let's prepare the filling. Remove the pits from the cherries; this can be easily done with a pin.
Step 5
Mix the cottage cheese with the egg, add sugar to taste, and mash until smooth. Roll the dough into a sausage shape and cut it into pieces about 1.5 cm thick. Each piece should be rolled out into a circle about 10 cm in diameter, place a spoonful of cottage cheese and a cherry in the center, fold the circle over, and pinch the edges together. Once everything is ready, place it in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 6
Boil them in boiling water and be sure to serve with sour cream!
