Description

Possible variations: ham can be replaced with any other meat product you have on hand: any type of sausage, even hot dogs.

Ingredients

  • Ham - 3.5 oz
  • Puff Pastry - 1 piece
  • Tomatoes - 3.5 oz
  • Pickles - 3.5 oz
  • Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
  • Mustard Greens - 3.5 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Spices - 3.5 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper - 3.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Roll out the dough and spread mustard on it.

Step 2

Grate the cheese, and chop the tomato, ham, and pickles into small cubes.

Step 3

Place the filling in a strip down the center of the dough: first cheese, then everything else, and again cheese.

Step 4

Sprinkle with pepper and a little bit of herbs.

Step 5

Roll up the dough and carefully transfer it to a baking sheet.

Step 6

Brush the rolls with raw egg for a golden color, and generously sprinkle with herbs for aroma. Bake until done.

Step 7

If desired, you can even replace it with pieces of fried meat, chicken, pork - whatever you like.

Step 8

Tomato can be perfectly replaced with bell pepper.

Step 9

But you can also wonderfully combine them in one roll. The main thing is to keep mustard and pickles in the recipe - they create the spicy charm of this roll.
