Description
This is essentially a versatile recipe, and you can brew any tea that you prefer. It is particularly interesting to brew hibiscus tea with its consistently bright fruity notes. Coconut crunch can easily be replaced with shredded coconut.

- Ground Oats - 4.2 oz
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Coconut Milk - 20 fl oz
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
- Earl Grey Tea - 1 tablespoon
- Desiccated coconut - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the milk and sugar in a saucepan, stir, and place over medium heat. Add the loose Earl Grey tea and bring to a boil. Once the milk boils, remove from heat, stir, cover, and let the milk steep for 10 minutes. During this time, the tea will brew and impart its aroma to the milk.
Step 2
Strain the milk through a sieve into another saucepan to remove the tea leaves. Return the milk to medium heat, add the oats, and cook, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat, portion into bowls. Serve sprinkled with ground cinnamon and coconut crunch or shredded coconut.
