Description
1. I overbaked it in the oven to get a golden crust. Therefore, after 30 minutes of baking, you should keep an eye on the bread. 2. You can decorate it with candied fruits or sprinkles.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 28.2 oz
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
- Butter - 1.9 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Raisins - 4.4 oz
- Vanillin - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In warm milk, mix the yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 cup (250 g) of flour, stir and let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Add melted butter, vegetable oil, 85 grams of sugar, and 1 egg, mix. Add a pinch of vanillin and sifted flour in parts. The dough should be soft and elastic.
Step 3
Leave the dough in a warm place for 1.5–2 hours.
Step 4
Divide the dough into four equal parts. From three parts, make ropes and braid them into a braid the length of the diameter of the mold.
Step 5
For the filling, mix cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 75 grams of sugar, a pinch of vanillin, and rinsed raisins.
Step 6
Roll out the fourth part of the dough into a circle and place it at the bottom of the mold. Place the braid on top, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes (without the filling).
Step 7
Before baking, add the filling, brush the braid with a mixture of 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of milk and place it in the oven. Bake at 374°F for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 320°F and bake for another 40–45 minutes.
