Description
If you love sweet dough, you should add more sugar.
Ingredients
- Salt - a pinch
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Milk - 10 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 1.4 oz
- Raisins - to taste
- Vanilla salt - to taste
- Margarine - 5.3 oz
- Egg white - 7 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 31.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make the sponge. In warm milk (not hot), dissolve the yeast. Add half of the sugar, 250 g of flour, and salt. Mix well and place in a warm spot. Once the sponge rises, deflate it. Repeat this process about three times.
Step 2
When the sponge is well rested, add melted margarine, yolks, the remaining sugar, raisins, flour, and knead well. Place in a warm spot. When the dough rises, deflate it. Repeat this process about four times.
Step 3
When the dough stops sticking to your hands, divide it into greased molds (fill the molds halfway and let them rise).
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F until done.
Step 5
Let the Easter bread cool and decorate.
