Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
  • Raisins - 8.8 oz
  • Butter - 8.8 oz
  • Sugar - 8.8 oz
  • Egg white - 4 pieces
  • Egg white - 2 pieces
  • Baking Powder - ½ piece
  • Milk - 5 fl oz
  • Vanillin - ½ piece
  • Salt - a pinch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks of 2 eggs.

Step 2

Rinse the raisins, pour boiling water over them, and let cool.

Step 3

Grate the lemon zest and squeeze the juice from the lemon. Beat the softened butter with sugar until completely dissolved. Add the eggs and yolks one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Then add the lemon zest and juice, and mix.

Step 4

Combine the flour with baking powder and salt. Gradually add warm milk and flour to the dough in small portions, mixing quickly. Add the rinsed and dried raisins and vanillin.

Step 5

Grease the molds with vegetable oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Step 6

Fill the molds no more than 2/3 full.

Step 7

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 1 hour.

Step 8

Carefully remove the cooled breads from the molds and glaze them.

Step 9

For the glaze, beat the egg white with salt, gradually add sugar, and whip into a thick foam.

Step 10

Sprinkle with decorative sprinkles on top.
