Easter Eggs Dyed in Rice
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Rice - 14.1 oz
- Red Food Coloring - to taste

Thoroughly wash the eggs.
Step 2
Place them in a pot.
Step 3
Cover with water.
Step 4
Bring to a boil, then cook for at least 8 minutes. The final state of the eggs should be hard-boiled (cooking time may vary depending on the type of stove).

Place the cooked eggs under cold running water.
Step 6
Pour rice into an airtight bag.
Step 7
Add food coloring to the rice.
Step 8
Then mix it a little with a fork or spoon.

Add a different color of food coloring (optional), mix lightly, but do not fully combine to keep the colors separate.

Place the eggs in the rice, burying them. Leave until completely dry.

After about 30–40 minutes, everything is ready! Optionally, you can brush the eggs with oil for shine and serve.
