- Vanillin - 0.7 oz

Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat 2 eggs with sugar until frothy.
Step 2
Heat the milk until warm, divide it into 2 parts.
Step 3
In 1 part of the warm milk, melt the margarine, and in the other, dissolve the yeast.
Step 4
In a pot, mix the milk-yeast mixture with the sugar-egg mixture, add the sour cream, stir well, then pour in the milk-margarine mixture and add the vanillin, mixing again thoroughly.
Step 5
Then add the raisins, dried fruits, and flour.
Step 6
Knead the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5 hours.

Step 9
Bake at 356°F. Large kulichs take about 40 minutes, small ones about 30 minutes.

Step 11
Then gradually, without stopping the beating, add the powdered sugar in small portions.
Step 12
After all the powdered sugar has been added, beat for about another 4 minutes.
Step 13
Spread the glaze on the slightly cooled kulichs and leave them until fully set.
