Description
The dough was initially prepared in a bread maker. The kulich was baked in an Oursson 5015 multicooker.
Ingredients
- 1% Kefir - 3 fl oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Orange zest - ½ teaspoon
- Citrus Zest Mix - ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 19.4 oz
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Raisins - 2.6 oz
- Candied fruits - 2.6 oz
- Cognac - 1.1 oz
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
- White Chocolate - 7.1 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate - 1.8 oz
- Yellow Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place all ingredients in the specified order into a mixing bowl according to the recipe. Select the 'Dough' program and press the 'Start' button.
Step 2
Soak the raisins and candied fruits in cognac. After the signal, add the soaked raisins, candied fruits, and chopped hazelnuts.
Step 3
Knead the dough and let it rise. The dough should increase in volume by 2 to 2.5 times. Punch down the dough and shape it into a ball.
Step 4
Grease the multicooker pot with butter and place the dough ball inside.
Step 5
Select the 'Yogurt' mode, set the time to 1.5 hours. When the dough has risen, select the 'Bake' mode, set the cooking time to 1 hour.
Step 6
Invert the kulich and bake it for another hour in the same mode.
Step 7
Transfer the baked kulich to a cooling rack and let it cool.
Step 8
Once completely cooled, cover the kulich with melted white chocolate. Decorate the surface with melted dark chocolate.
Step 9
Allow the chocolate to set. Apply decoration with gold paint.
Step 10
Slice the kulich into portions and serve.
