Easy Honey Cake
Ingredients
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Farm fresh eggs - 4 pieces
- Honey - 11.6 oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour - 3 cups
- Walnuts - 40 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - ½ cup
- Sour Cream - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the walnuts.
Step 2
Beat the honey, sugar, and eggs together.
Step 3
Add baking powder, flour, and walnuts, and mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 3–4 hours.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Place parchment paper on 3 baking sheets and grease them with vegetable oil. Spread the dough on the parchment very thinly. Bake each layer for 7–8 minutes.
Step 5
Whip the sour cream with sugar using a mixer.
Step 6
Spread the cream on all layers.
Step 7
Assemble the cake and decorate as desired (for example, with almond flakes and cocoa).
