Description
Egg White Biscuit with Chocolate
Ingredients
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Butter - 1.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.9 oz
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 3.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the almonds and toast them in a dry skillet. Let cool. Melt the chocolate in a water bath or microwave, pour into a mold in a thin layer, and place in the freezer.
Step 2
Melt the butter and let it cool.
Step 3
Whip the egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form.
Step 4
Pour the melted butter into the whipped egg whites and mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Sift the flour into the mixture and mix with a whisk (or mixer).
Step 6
Place the prepared mixture in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.
Step 7
Preheat the oven to 302°F.
Step 8
Pour half of the egg white mixture into the mold. Let it sit to dry slightly. Take the thin layer of chocolate from the freezer and place it on top of the mixture.
Step 9
Spread the remaining half of the egg white mixture over the chocolate (this creates an egg white-chocolate sandwich).
Step 10
Place the mold with the prepared mixture in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 302°F. Then reduce the temperature to 248°F and bake until done (a golden egg white crust will form on the surface).
Step 11
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and coffee.
