- Milk - 13 fl oz
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Whole egg - 4 pieces
- Jam - 1.4 oz

Step 1
Bring the milk to a boil with the sugar. Whisk the egg yolks and, while continuously stirring, add them to the hot milk. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and, stirring constantly, cook in a water bath until thickened at a temperature of 70–176°F (the mixture should not boil).
Step 2
Pour the finished cream into bowls, cool, and serve, garnished with fruit from the jam.
