Description
There is nothing simpler than this pie in the world. If you are tired of overly dry cookies or if your mug cake just isn't working out, you should try making the national English dessert — crumble.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Apple - 8 pieces
- Fresh Berries - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the crumble: flour - 200 grams, butter - 100 grams, sugar - 100 grams.
Step 2
For the filling: rhubarb (apple) - 6(8) stalks, blueberries (any berries) - 1 cup, sugar - 150 grams.
Step 3
First, cook the fruits and berries sprinkled with sugar until they release their juice. I can't give an exact time, as it depends on the fruits you use and their ripeness. Generally, it should be something like a five-minute jam.
Step 4
Meanwhile, or afterward, mix the flour, butter, and sugar and rub them together with your hands until the lumps are very small and stop sticking to each other and to your hands. You can't confuse this moment.
Step 5
All that's left is to grease the baking dish with butter, place the filling inside, and sprinkle the crumble on top. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 356°F. Determine readiness by the golden and crispy crust.
