Ingredients
- Crème fraîche - 10 fl oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
- Fig - 4.4 oz
- Candied fruits - to taste
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder - 0.9 oz
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, bring the crème fraîche to a boil over low heat, remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, butter, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
Step 2
Add finely chopped ginger, finely chopped fig, and cinnamon, mix well and transfer to a bowl. Refrigerate for 3 hours until the mixture is slightly set and can be rolled into balls.
Step 3
Taking 1 teaspoon of the mixture at a time, roll into balls. Coat them first in cocoa powder, then in chopped almonds. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and leave for 2 hours.
