Ingredients
- Black figs - 4 pieces
- Ricotta cheese - 8.8 oz
- Maple syrup - 1 fl oz
- Ground chili pepper - to taste
- Green pistachios - 1.8 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the ricotta with chili pepper and maple syrup until smooth.
Step 2
Crush the green pistachios or chop them using a food processor.
Step 3
Grate the lemon zest.
Step 4
Cut the figs into 4 parts but not all the way through, so they open like a flower while the bottom remains intact (see photo).
Step 5
Carefully fill each fig with ricotta and sprinkle with lemon zest first, followed by ground pistachios.
Step 6
Drizzle with maple syrup.
