Flan with Wild Berries and Almonds
Ingredients
- Lingonberry - 7.1 oz
- Frozen black currant puree - 7.1 oz
- Red Currant - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Shortcrust Cake Mix - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Semolina - to taste
- Chopped almonds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Knead the shortcrust pastry. Cover with parchment paper, place peas or beans on top. Bake in the oven at 356°F for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Step 2
Rinse the berries, mix with sugar and the egg.
Step 3
Remove the pastry from the oven, take off the parchment paper. Make small holes with a fork (see photo), sprinkle with semolina (to prevent the berries from sinking).
Step 4
Place the berries on top. Put the pastry back in the oven. Bake at the same temperature for another 30 minutes.
Step 5
Sprinkle with almonds.
